This case study explores my approach to designing a subscription flow that helps users confidently choose between multiple plans while preserving the excitement of discovery. The focus was on clarity, personalization, and trust ensuring users feel in control even when the product itself is a surprise.
Surprise based subscriptions thrive on anticipation, but they also introduce hesitation users want excitement without losing control. This project explores how thoughtful UX can balance curiosity with clarity in a paid subscription flow.

Key Insight: Most competitors either overwhelm users with choices or hide value behind multiple steps. This highlighted an opportunity to design a flow that is transparent yet playful.
Even when discovery is the core value, users need transparency around pricing, benefits, and control to feel comfortable committing.
When designed with intent, fun interactions help users feel more engaged and confident in the process.
